Description:Seeking a skilled and motivated security professional with strong special access program experience and knowledge. This position is located at RAF Lakenheath, UK and will support the F-35 program. This role will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) Facility. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, technicians, pilots and visitors using the facility; operate badging and access control systems; monitor the Intrusion Detection System; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all USAF, local security procedures and practices, DoDM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage for the facility, and additional duties as required/assigned.
This is primarily a 1st Shift position; but mission events may require 1st or 2nd shift work and/or a non-standard work schedule to support mission requirements that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required, in the future.
Basic Qualifications:
Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Industrial and/or military security experience.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:
Experience with multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).
In depth ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge and application.
In depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07, Vols 1-4
Previous SAP experience & knowledge of DoD 5205.07 (Vols. 1-4), previous version JAFANs, JSIG, and NIPSOM regulatory guidance.
Knowledge working with the F-35 program security environments.
Experience providing briefings and/or training.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
