The Personnel SecuritySpecialist will provide specialized security knowledge with emphasis inclearance processing standards and assist in developing an efficient and robustclearance program support of program work across multiple sites. The positionwill provide personnel security services for collateral and working closely with the FSO, program security SMEs, and ACST program managers.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Manage a process for submitting and tracking clearance packets to include running metrics and reporting out to various levels of management.
Perform a variety of security related duties to include clearance processing, assisting in the development of awareness and education packages, and badge processing.
Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions.
Provide input on systematic methods for streamlining security processes and sharing information across multiple locations.
Maintaining personnel security files at the primary location and providing guidance for other locations.
Provide guidance and support to personnel regarding the security clearance process.
Coordination to ensure clearance processing is effective and adheres to proper guidelines.
Perform data entry into SIMS and other tracking tools.
Participate in security compliance audits.
Conduct regular security survey inspections to ascertain organizational adequacy and conformance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Analyze survey results and provide input on recommended changes, new policies, and procedures for implementation.
Facilitate security briefings for individuals & groups as necessary.
Coordinates with governmental agencies regarding proper classification guidance.
Assist management with completion and submission of all contract security deliverables.

YOU MUST HAVE:
U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
1 + Years experience in Data Entry

WE VALUE:
Active security clearance
Completion of Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) courses (if not currently possessing, candidate must complete within 6 months of hire):
Introduction to Personnel Security
Introduction to Suitability Adjudications for the DoD
FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
Familiarity with appropriate DoD manuals and ICD series manuals
Experience with Defense Information Security Systems (DISS), eQIP, and SIMS
