Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Simulation Architect Eurofighter (d/f/m) Mission & ActivitiesWe develop top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development life-cycle. We are looking for a Simulation Architect to reinforce our simulation team in Manching. You will be responsible for defining and implementing complex simulation architectures for the Eurofighter aircraft program. You will work in an international environments and require close coordination with internal colleagues, stakeholders and external partner companies.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesDesign and implement complex architectures for Engineering Simulations to support the aircraft programs
Initial and detailed assessment of simulator changes and modifications especially applicable to avionic subsystems
Review of the User- and System requirements
Translate high-level system and system-of-system requirements into tangible architectures
Breakdown architectures into work packages
Desired skills and qualificationsBachelor or Master degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related discipline
Several years of experience within Engineering and as a systems architect or system engineer
Hands-on proven simulation & software architecture track record
Experience in System Integration Verification & Validation
Project Management skills would be beneficial
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
