Morson Edge is currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Fitters to join a prestigious aerospace programme based on the Isle of Wight. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to advanced aviation projects while working with a respected industry leader on a contract basis.

As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in the production and assembly of aircraft components, including:

Manufacturing both main and sub-assemblies (jig-controlled and non-jig controlled) using appropriate tools, fixtures, and established assembly techniques

Working across a range of aircraft structures, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, processes, and procedures to consistently meet stringent quality standards

Producing first-off production units with accuracy and attention to detail

Carrying out mechanical assembly work to a consistently high standard

Accommodation allowance of up to 1,400 gross per month (receipts required)

Essential Requirements

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or a completed apprenticeship with equivalent certification

Demonstrable experience in mechanical fitting or aerospace assembly
