Morson Edge is recruiting Skilled Aircraft Fitters to join a busy aerospace manufacturing environment in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a long-term contract within a professional production setting where standards stay high and workload stays consistent.

You’ll be working on precision aircraft components, helping deliver quality products that demand accuracy, care, and capable hands.

You will be responsible for assembling and installing sheet metal components using engineering drawings, templates, and fixtures, working to close tolerances and exacting aerospace standards.

• Assemble sheet metal components using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Work with materials including aluminium, steel, and titanium
• Install aerospace fasteners and components to required standards
• Carry out drilling, fitting, and assembly activities with high accuracy
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain right-first-time quality standards
• Follow all health, safety, and site procedures
• Work closely with the wider production team to meet output targets

• Time-served apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
• Experience within manufacturing or aerospace environments
• Strong practical skills using hand tools and fitting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Positive attitude and team-based approach
