Software Application Developer (Virtual)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Software Application Developer (Virtual). In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and/maintain software code for our defense and commercial software product offerings.
Position Responsibilities:
- Working under only general direction, develops, tests and maintains digital software applications using current and emerging technologies
- Troubleshoots software issues and conducts root cause analysis
- Defines design patterns for software implementation
- Contributes to architectures, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Supports project management reviews and compliance audits
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 9+ years of combined technical education and relevant work experience
- Experienced with Java using Spring/Hibernate
- Experienced with TypeScript/JavaScript using ReactJS/Redux/Sagas
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Advanced technical education (e.g., bachelor’s degree)
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), build automation tools (e.g., Maven), web servers (e.g., Tomcat), web services (e.g., SOAP, REST), database persistence (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL), code reviews (e.g., Gerrit), issue and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira), module bundling (e.g., Webpack), unit and/or behavior-driven development (BDD) testing and frameworks (e.g., Junit, Cucumber, Jacoco, Sonarqube)
- Familiarity with AI technologies and/or approaches (e.g., predictive models, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing)

Summary base pay range $104,500 - $123,000
