Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Manassas, VA is seeking a Software Technician to join our team supporting one of our ASW programs. Approximately 25 this role will involve configuration of HW with the correct firmware/BIOS. The other ~75 will be spent performing Software Development tasks using Java or Linux Scripting (Bash, Ansible, Python, etc.).

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance and will be 100 onsite.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience programming in a modern computer language (for example, Java or Python).

Experience using Linux.

Experience with computer configuration and troubleshooting.

Ability to follow written procedures (System Testing, BIOSing, etc.)

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Systems Engineering, integration + Test).

Basic understanding of Software configuration management, Software Development Methodologies, and Full software life-cycle development

Academic or Professional experience using MATLAB, Python, GitLab, SonarQube, Docker, Ansible, Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)

Academic or professional experience in Database design and development/computer system administration
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
