Solder Technician – 2nd Shift
$22–$23/hr + $1/hr Shift Diff Maple Grove, MN
Class III J-STD High-Reliability Electronics
Note: Candidates must have at least 1 year of hands-on soldering experience to IPC-A-610 standards. This is a technical role requiring demonstrated microscope soldering abilities.
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Solder Technician to support Class III electronic assembly in a regulated, precision manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
What You’ll Do
• Perform Class III hand soldering on SMT, Through-Hole, and Flex assemblies under a microscope
• Fabricate and prep wiring, components, and sub-assemblies for PCBA integration
• Conduct cleaning, rework, and part preparation using approved tools and processes
• Read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and ESD/ISO quality standards
• Complete production documentation and support process improvements
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year soldering experience to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
• J-STD-001 certification (or ability to certify upon hire)
• Skilled in soldering fine-pitch and micro-components under a scope
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to pass visual acuity and color-vision assessments
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
• Electronics manufacturing experience in high-reliability industries (aerospace, medical, defense)

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
