Job Title: Sr. Customer Program Representative – Military Business Unit (T56 Engine Line)
Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid Reporting to Department of National Defence Headquarters)
General Accountability
Reporting directly to the Sr. Customer Program Director and functionally to the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, this role serves as a key liaison between StandardAero and our Canadian military customer base. The primary responsibility is managing T56 engine programs and supporting ongoing sustainment initiatives.
The role is based at the customer’s office at the Department of National Defence (DND) in Ottawa and a hybrid work arrangement can be accommodated. Prior military experience is highly preferred, ideally within aerospace or maintenance operations, to align with the expectations and culture of our customer environment.
Specific Market Segment Focus
This position specifically supports our Canadian military customers, with a focus on supporting the operational and contractual aspects of the T56 turboprop engine program used in military transport aircraft such as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and CP-140 (P-3) Aurora.
Key Responsibilities
Required Background & Skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Capable of analyzing technical and operational data to drive decisions.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of ERP or MRO software systems is an advantage.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering Technology, or equivalent military training is preferred but not required
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, secret clearance to work within DND facilities.
- Occasional travel to other StandardAero or customer sites is required.
