Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Senior Product Owner

LOCATION: Dallas, TX, and hybrid role, may work from home.

DUTIES: Work in a Scrum environment with a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology utilizing Jira and Jira Align. Help create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and review and accept user stories as complete. Lead in defining vision and program backlog. Meet with stakeholders to ensure features and subsequent stories meet expectations. Review, approve and drive iteration content by prioritizing user stories. Collaborate with the integration of test automation in software build and deployment processes. Work with Agile team members to analyze project requirements with the goal of increasing automated testability and decreasing risk. Provide product support in the Aircraft Operations domain with a concentration in Flight Tracking and Performance Weight and Balance analysis. Communicate and support all project-related information in a timely and professional manner as dictated by team need and testing processes. Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes. Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams. Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Communicate release details and schedules to the Business stakeholders and other internal teams as required. Apply knowledge of system operations, data, infrastructure, architectural and technology tool stack configuration. Work with support engineers to understand impacts of production defect escape rates. Provide on-call overnight support and coordination of Tier1 upgrades, deployments and configuration changes, including supporting Tier1 Required to Operate/Required to Fly applications in an overnight capacity. Review and approve disaster recovery procedures to be used during operational outages. Coordinate and interact with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on mandated regulations compliance. Use various technologies, including AWS Cloud and Service Now.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor&39;s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Product Analyst, IT Business Systems Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to 5 years of progressive experience managing or owning a product. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience working in a Scrum environment and with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology utilizing Jira and Jira Align. 3 years of experience in an Aircraft Operations domain with a concentration in Flight Tracking and Performance Weight and Balance analysis. 3 years of experience interacting with the FAA. 3 years of experience with system operations, data, infrastructure, architectural and technology tool stacks configuration including cloud-based architecture. 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud. 3 years of experience with Service Now. 3 years of experience supporting Tier1 Required to Operate/Required to Fly applications in an overnight capacity. Hybrid role, may work from home.
