Job Description:

The Sr. Resource Planning and Analysis Consultant is responsible for near/mid-term capacity and demand planning with a primary focus on overnight maintenance, facilities, and workforce. The role centers on expert-level analytics, thought leadership, and internal consulting. In addition, the role will work collaboratively with Fleet Strategy, Network Planning, Operational Performance, FP&A, Fleet Management, Maintenance Planning, and Maintenance Programs to build a holistic in-house maintenance strategy and align that with the enterprise strategy.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work at a Company facility at least three days a week. Responsibilities
  • Develop forecasting models for key resources to support capacity and demand planning considering tradeoffs to cost, opportunity cost, and the operation.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to maximize aircraft utilization and profitability with a focus on reliability, staffing, facilities, planning, and technology
  • Develop business cases that inform, refine, or challenge current practices across the business
  • Support the development of new data sources with robust processes of data collection that ensure the reliability and validity of the data is suitable for the objective of the analysis
  • Develops a deep understanding of airlines&39; priorities, value drivers, and challenges to translate technical needs to the commercial and business teams involved in the work
  • Develop well-written presentations that are clear and convey key information, including business cases, roadmaps, and other materials that support alignment efforts
  • Encourage consensus among multiple parties with conflicting and diverse viewpoints
  • Build confidence and sustain trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provides guidance to less experienced Business Consultants and other Team members to transfer knowledge and support their development
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee&39;s Leader

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of analytical tools, processes, and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of statistical forecasting methods
  • Skilled in understanding and applying the information to contribute to the organization&39;s strategic plan
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Skilled in synthesizing information within PowerPoint presentations and delivering them to affected stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and in speaking with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to develop high confidence and trust from Senior and Executive Leadership. Manages relationships at all levels for long-term partnership and respect

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Expert level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:

    • Quantitative modeling and analysis

    • Operations Management

    • Developing strategies, plans, and solutions to address a complex or ambiguous problem

    • Driving initiatives of functional Teams

  • Preferred: Experience with storytelling, deckbuilding, and presenting

  • Preferred: Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Python, MS Teams, R Programming, and/or Think-cell

Licensing/Certification

  • N/A

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time

  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive market salary from $118,600.00 per year to $131,800.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
