Sr. System Testing Analyst I

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Sr. System Testing Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance (Public Trust).

Work arrangement:

Partial onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and as needed
W2 position; 12 months
Must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship.

Position summary:

Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
Track quality assurance metrics.
The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client’s operating environment.

Qualifications:

Excellent project planning, organization, and management skills.
Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
Thorough understanding of systems migration processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.

Required technologies:

Knowledge of Java, WebSphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms.
Knowledge of DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
Skill in Whitebox testing, integration testing.

Nice to have:

Selenium
Puppeteer
Appium
The preferred candidate should have experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
The preferred candidate should have knowledge of ServiceNow.
The preferred candidate should have experience testing Web applications.

Minimum required work experience:

7 years of IT experience including experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
