Key dutiesPerform daily auditing, shipping, receiving, inspection, issuing, order processing, unserviceable processing and stocking of inventory.Ensure daily KPI’s are metCoordinate delivery of AOG’s (Aircraft on Ground), including customs clearance of AOG parts after hours when needed.Action reports i.e., Time expired material, issued out parts/tooling & wheel rotationHandle and ship dangerous goods.Understanding of customs regulations and prepare shipping documentationIn addition to Aircraft Maintenance, support all branches in and around the airport as requiredMonitor and maintaining inventory to right levelsEnsure Air Canada corporate guidelines and policies are always adhered to while working in a safe manner. Maintain compliance with work safety standards.Ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained as per health & safety guidelinesBe initiative-taking while managing workload and prioritiesMonitor temperature & humidity of storage areasCollect/deliver aircraft parts to from Cargo – On or off airport propertyCreate repair orders & ship items via outside couriers directly to vendorsOther related duties as assigned
QualificationsMust be available to workdays, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.Must have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience.You must have successfully completed High School or equivalent.During the probation period:Complete all OS (Operational Standards) training as outlines in the Control ManualMust obtain a Restricted Area PassMust obtain an Airside License
Previous warehouse, supply chain, logistics and supply and/or airline experience is an asset.Knowledge of aircraft parts preferred and knowledge of common hardware essentialMust have effective communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments, employees, and supervisorsAble to use a computer and navigate through various software.Hold a valid drivers license.Forklift experience an asset.Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations depending on the work location.
