Position Summary
Responsible to conduct integrity test of hose by using pressurized water. Operator will also expel mandrel from hose. Off shift position available, located in our Alliance, NE facility.
Responsibilities
1. Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.2. Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner.3. Maintain production schedules.4. Work with groups in initiating and implementation of programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S. 5. Other duties may be assigned at a later time.
Qualifications
Experience: Production work preferred but not requiredPreferred Skills/Qualifications:1. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills2. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools3. Sound decision making skills4. Good math, reading, writing skills5. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude6. Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product7. Strong trouble shooting skillsSkills/Competencies: 1. Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office package2. Ability to lift up to 50 poundsOther Skills: Ability to work well in a team environmentAssessment: Employee must pass Pre-employment screening
