Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is seeking a Student Custodian to join our Maintenance team. This position is perfect for current PIA students looking for part-time work while contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment.

• Maintain cleanliness in lunchrooms, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas
• Operate janitorial equipment; strip and wax floors, move furniture
• Stock janitor closets and restrooms
• Empty trash cans and smoking receptacles
• Sweep entryways and hallways, dust surfaces, and clean glass
• Assist with event setups (tables, chairs, stage)
• Report maintenance issues to management
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable standing or walking for up to 6 hours per shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and work in inclement weather
• Must wear PPE as required
• Flexible to work outside regular hours when needed

• Current PIA Student
• High School Diploma or GED
