Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Technical Trainer to join their team based in Mobile, AL. 

The Technical Trainer position is responsible for managing learning and performance of the employees in the learning environment as well as projects regarding Shop Floor Optimization. 

Currently, there are 3 skill sets needed:

  • Electrical Instructor

  • Structures Assembly Instructor

  • Mechanical/Systems Installer Instructor

Your working environment: 

Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your challenges: 

● Drive and monitor the overall learning process including policies.

● Coordinate and ensure global alignment between all actors of competence and learning community. 

● Define, handle and implement learning strategies for Airbus Group and respective perimeters. 

● Monitor overall performance and effectiveness of learning. 

● Design, manage and continuously improve the learning offer. 

● Ensure the delivery of learning solutions in Time, Cost & Quality. 

● Manage learning budget for Airbus Group and respective perimeters. 

Your boarding pass: 

● Associate Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree is desirable 

  • 5 years of experience in an aviation manufacturing or assembly environment, specifically related to curriculum being taught. 

  • Experience in training, facilitation or in leading and directing groups of 10&43; people.

  • Ability to moderate technical decisions based on solution analysis and risk evaluation

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Knowledge in Google Workspace

  • Knowledge of SAP preferred 

  • Required: Knowledge of basic production and quality rules in aviation
