Role Summary:
* In this role, you will serve as a Metrology & Calibration Specialist within a test and evaluation laboratory environment. You will perform calibration, certification, and testing of various Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) across multiple metrology parameters, including precision dimensional, optical, mass, temperature-humidity, pressure, flow, and force. You will support the development of test procedures, troubleshoot lab equipment, and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards. This position supports both commercial and defense programs across a variety of aircraft and systems. Education & Job Requirements:
* Must have an AA degree in a related discipline and 1 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have 3 or more years of calibration and certification work experience or equivalent background.
* Must have experience with Flow, Pressure, Linear Measurements, Temperature/Humidity, Electrical, or other Physical Metrology processes.
* Must be able to work 100 onsite in Seattle, WA (Building 15-30).
* Must be willing to relocate at own expense if out-of-state.
* Must successfully complete OJT (on-the-job training) as a contingency for assignment.
* Must be available for first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), with possible overtime opportunities.
* Must meet all U.S. export compliance requirements. Preferred Skills:
* You will have electrical calibration and certification experience.
* You will have Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) credentials.
* You will have PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience.
* You will have experience in the aerospace industry.
* You will have knowledge of LabView, C++, and Access.
* You will have experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware test scripts. Job Duties / Functions:
* You will be supporting and planning activities to conduct and document tests on measurement and test equipment.
* You will be coordinating test requirements and determining test methods and capabilities.
* You will be conducting routine tests, analyzing data, and documenting results.
* You will be maintaining and revising test procedures and documentation.
* You will be troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related issues.
* You will be working under general direction, adhering to technical and quality standards, and promoting a culture of first-time quality.
