$32.30-$39.70/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Tool Setup & Maintenance: Aligns, levels, and inspects complex tooling; performs major repairs and uses both manual and CNC equipment for tool fabrication.

• Tool Design & Fabrication: Designs tools for assembly/fabrication based on engineering drawings or customer requests, and reverse-engineers designs when needed.

• Proofload Testing: Conducts proof-load integrity tests using scales, weights, and rigging to verify structural safety and compliance.

• Training & Documentation: Delivers training to internal users on equipment operation and maintenance; reviews proof-load test documentation for accuracy and compliance.

• Continuous Improvement: Recommends improvements for processes and procedures to enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Person Requirement: Yes

• Safety Sensitive: Yes — NASA environment; badge required

• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 35 lbs., stand/climb/operate equipment

• High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education (Associate’s + 2 years, or Bachelor’s).

• Experience with crane and forklift support strongly preferred.
