Air New Zealands Standards and Training team are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the team in Auckland as a Training Content Development & Delivery Support on a permanent contract.

Under the direction of the Training Development & Delivery Lead, you will support the development of aircrew training courses and associated courseware.

You will work alongside Training Mangers, developers and instructors to provide expertise in creating course content and associated media (graphics, photography, videography), helping with Course Design, supporting Instructors with the software infrastructure used for training delivery and managing training content. As you will work with a wide range of people, you will utilise sound communication skills and be a reliable team player to ensure the smooth planning and development of courses.

This role plays a key part within Air New Zealand with many opportunities for implementing ideas for the ongoing improvement of Air New Zealands aircrew training programme.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be proficient with general IT systems
  • Strong skills with the Adobe Design Suite
  • Have a good eye for design and understanding design concepts, as you will also help with creating material that is professional, elegant and an aid for our overall training programme
  • Be able to manage projects and deadlines well
  • Have sound communication skills both within the team and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with presenting ideas and processes to groups of trainees and stakeholders
  • Willing to travel for various projects domestically, and occasionally internationally

Strong English and grammatical skills are also important as you will check documentation before it is published for training. Experience from the aviation industry and/or training is preferred although not a requirement, however having an interest in these topics and a keenness to learn is essential.
