You are our ideal candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Design, UX design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing digital products and interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies, user testing techniques, and UX best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools (we use Figma), prototyping tools and strong interest for front-end frameworks (e.g., React and Angular)
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts, rationale, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and prioritize initiatives.
  • Experience working in iterative development environments.
  • Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning in the field of UX design and user research.
  • Fluent in English, preferably in Norwegian too

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Lead the UX design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring that designs are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, conducting user research, gathering insights, and advocating for the needs of our users throughout the design process.
  • Plan and execute user testing sessions, gathering feedback and iterating on designs based on user insights to continually improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand business needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
  • Mentor and inspire fellow designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to create best-in-class user experience that affects millions of travelers on global basis.
