Job Description:
A VIE mission for a SPU Control Integration engineer has arisen within Airbus Commercial in Getafe (Madrid), Spain.
You will join the SPU Control Integration team in Spain. We are responsable for the APU integration in the aircraft from the point of view of control, monitoring and electrical aspects (with the exception of electrical generation). In our department we also deal with Data Analytics aspects (we leader the zAOG plateau in Getafe). Finally we also have an Integration Test Bench for single aisle and A350.
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
RESPONSIBILITIES
support the development of a APU intake flap actuator for the Cobra project (currently in PDR phase of the development). This implies:
writing specifications (including DOORS tool activities)
proof reading supplier specification
preparing documentation for V&V activities
SKILLS

Education: Engineering degree (any of: aerospace, industrial, electronics, telecommunications or similar disciplines)
Experience: junior profile
Soft skills: pro-active, autonomous, strong interpersonal and communication skills, high adaptability to work on new topics
Languages: Advanced level in English, Spanish language is desiderable (but not required)
Technical knowledge: background on requirements management and system engineering is desiderable.
Valuable / Nice to have: DOORS knowledge would be a plus, familiar with Google Workspace would be a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old. You cannot hold citizenship of the country of the mission you are applying for.
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
