Boeing is currently hiring a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Administrator (Versatile Technologist) for our Seattle, WA facility but will consider candidates in other areas i.e. St. Louis, N. Charleston, SC, SoCal locations, or Mesa, AZ area.

Position is Hybrid/Remote - (going into facility as needed)
Systems Analysis & Architecture
Analyze enterprise computing requirements and system needs
Ensure systems conform to architectural objectives, standards, and best practices
Evaluate system production readiness, scalability, and long-term supportability
Plan and coordinate complex software and hardware solutions for enterprise release
System Implementation & Maintenance
Lead activities to install, configure, and maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software, and components
Oversee the integration and maintenance of enterprise computer applications
Evaluate and select hardware and software to ensure compatibility and optimal performance
Support multidisciplinary systems and application activities
Operations & Incident Management
Perform restoration of complex computing service operations
Lead complex system problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution
Provide incident management support for hardware, software, and configuration issues
Ensure system reliability, availability, and operational stability
Security Integration
Lead activities to integrate security solutions into information systems
Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and risk-management requirements
Collaborate with security teams to implement controls and remediation strategies
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or application support roles
Strong experience with multi-platform environments (Windows, Linux, cloud, or hybrid)
Proven ability to design, implement, and support complex enterprise systems
Hands-on experience with incident management and system recovery
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ Years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or application support roles
Experience leading enterprise-scale system deployments
Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern infrastructure architectures
Familiarity with security frameworks and system hardening practices
Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or ITIL-based environments
