The Warehouse Agent – Jetpak (Tobago)- is responsible for the coordination of all transfer of packages to POS and the receiving and storage of packages from POS, as well as for processing of packages at the warehouse so they can be ready for customer delivery or collection at office. This a fixed term contract position.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Accountability: Ensures all customer packages are accounted for, take in deliveries and checks for damaged or missing items, ensures items are stored correctly, pack, wrap and load items, to be dispatched in a timely manner.
- Customer Service Delivery: Seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the customers expectations and maintains the Caribbean Airlines Limited standard, for customer service to both internal and external customers, by ensuring all packages are located using RF Scanner.
- Operational Effectiveness: Always Maintains the efficiency of the Department and the safety and cleanliness of the Warehouse, while adhering to company safety guidelines.
- Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely reports and provides effective data analysis and feedback to management, to aid in the decision-making process: Clearance reports, Inventory management, Damages and/or missing items and Cargo release reports.
- Customer Service: Seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the customers expectations by keenly understanding and resolving requests in a professional and result-oriented manner.
- Maintains the standards associated with the Service Level Agreements.
- Communicates both timely and effectively.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
You are required to have at least one (1) year of experience in a similar role with familiarity of modern warehousing methods and practices. You must also possess a minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC/CSEC Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English. You must be a customer-driven professional who is also a proven team player. You must also execute loading and unloading operations with a forklift; therefore, the requisite license to operate a forklift is preferred. Basic proficiency in inventory software, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required.
