Job Description:

Performs receiving, distribution and shipping duties as assigned
Identifies, verifies, counts and processes all incoming and outgoing materials and documentation utilizing company’s computerized inventory control system in accordance with company policies and procedures
Performs general warehouse tasks, which includes, but is not limited to, unloading trucks, operating forklift, use of scales to assist in counting of material, storing material, retrieving material, packing and unpacking material
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work area in accordance with company standards
Identifies discrepancies and damaged materials received and reports them to the Quality Control Department or Operations Supervisor for corrective action in accordance with company policies and procedures
Identifies any unsafe work area or equipment to Lead Warehouseman or Operations Supervisor
Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis.

Hours:

Department: Spares Operations

Reporting To: Supervisor, Spares Operations

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
1 year experience in a warehouse environment
Some experience operating a forklift or automated order picker
Experience processing material receipts and shipments using a computerized inventory control system
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers in a professional manner
Familiarity with civil aviation components a plus
Forklift License desired
Experience in operation of computerized shipment systems helpful
Experience in shipment of hazardous materials a plus
Experience in preparing export documentation for material shipments helpful
Familiarity with current business software a plus
