Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Warehouse Staging contractor to join our warehouse team based in Columbus, MS.
Your duties will consists of staging and expediting parts between different areas and buildings. Also the stocking of KanBan bins, removing dunnage from production floor, and assisting tool crib attendant.

In support of Warehouse Operations, our team members support everything from receiving to packing and shipping of materials. The warehouse is at the core of our operations, assuring that Team Airbus members and our customers get the materials they need to be successful.
Your working environment:
On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
- Checking bins daily for refill needs and picking parts thru SAP system
- Receiving parts from warehouse and filling bins
- Receiving parts from the warehouse and matching them up with production orders
- Filling in and assisting tool crib attendant
Your boarding pass:
- 1 – 2 years of warehousing experience preferred
- Experience operating a forklift is desirable but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form in English
- Good computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
