Working Student in DOA Managament and Expertis (d/m/f)

Job Description:

Located in Manching, our main mission is to obtain, extend and maintain the Design Organisation Appprovals of Airbus DS Gmbh with the relevant Civil and Military Airworthiness Authorities. The student will support the activities related to maintain the Airworthiness and Technical Delegations, in the preparation of the documentation supporting DOA Approvals (e.g Design Organisation Manuals, Compliance Check Lists...)

This includes amongst others the support of:

• Authority Management

  • Management of empowerments (Delegations of Signatory and Authority) within Airbus and our suppliers

  • Supporting the development and testing of airworthiness relevant IT tools. This includes the definition of requirements by analyzing user and authority needs and discussing these with DOA Management and IT Experts

• Design Organisation Approvals Management

  • Analysis of Part 21 and corresponding military regulatory baselines (DEMAR 21, A1-275/2-8901/2 and C1-275/2-8956)

  • Demonstration of compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes preparation of Compliance Checklists for aviation authorities (i.e. LBA, EASA and LufABw)

To ensure these activities the candidate will act as an focal point within Airbus.

Requirements:

• Being enrolled in an Engineering Major (preferably in aviation) at an University. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is an advantage

• Experience in industry, preferably in aviation.

• Knowledge of aviation law and certification regulations is an advantage

• Emphatic team player with positive and proactive attitude, capable of problem solving

• Business fluent English language skills, German is an advantage
