The proposed role will provide general support services for the Workshop in an efficient manner, ensuring the highest levels of productivity within regulatory compliance.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Customer Service Delivery

• Provides excellent customer service in Workshop support, aligning with the organizations strategic direction and regulatory compliance

Operational Effectiveness

• Achieves 100 success in maintaining aircraft components, equipment and tools within industry standards
• Contributes to improving On-Time Performance (OTP) with a target of 85
• Maintains proper tools for tasks.
• Achieves 100 reliability targets for Workshop components
• Oversees maintenance of support equipment successfully
• Complies fully with reporting schedules
• Keeps On-the-Job Training (OJT) records updated
• Contributes to successful audits by ensuring adherence to the approved company procedures

Relationship Management

• Builds and maintains beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders

Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Aims for zero accidents/incidents due to Workshop maintenance errors
• Complies with internal policies and local/international regulations

People Management

• Guides externally contracted custodians in supporting Workshop operations
  

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:

You must possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in preparing aircraft components and equipment for maintenance and a minimum of three (3) CXC / GCE O’Level passes.

You should also have knowledge of the rules and regulations guiding the activities of an aircraft component Workshop that is responsible for the services and standards across a wide variety of aircraft components and equipment. A Craft or Journeyman certification from a recognized institution will be considered an asset.
