Role Conditions

Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate
29 days holiday including bank holidays

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data and to the order requirements
Carry out maintenance tasks including, window polishing, grinding/fettling, paint stripping, shot peening, removal and/or installation of bearing cups
Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
Driving company van
Receipt inspections of customer jobs
Assisting dispatch, wrapping and packaging of customer jobs

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within the aerospace industry
Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings
Ability to manage own time to work efficiently and to deadlines
Right to work in the UK
