Harbour Air Aerospace Services is seeking a dependable Aircraft Paint Prepper to join their team. Harbour Air Aerospace Services is an

Your Role
Guided by integrity and commitment to Harbour Air’s four core values – safety, innovation, customer service and team spirit – you will
work to prep aircraft and parts for paint for the Harbour Air, Saltspring Air, and Whistler Air fleet of aircraft, in addition to numerous
aircraft for Harbour Air Aerospace Service’s valued third-party customers.
WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
LOCATION: Richmond (YVR) with temporary facility at Langley Airport
TERM: Full-Time Regular
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Department

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cleaning, de-corroding, sanding, washing and general prep work of aircraft parts prior to paint.
• Masking aircraft and touch-up priming/painting small parts.
• Cleaning and organizing of paint shop facilities and tools.
• Additional duties as requested by the Paint Shop Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS/ASSETS
• Clear and proven commitment to safety (for yourself and others) in line with our “Safety First” mandate. Ability to wear
extensive PPE for long periods of time.
• Excel at prioritizing assignments and completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Exacting attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced and safety critical environment.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks including (but not limited to): climbing and standing for long periods of time, lifting
heavy objects, bending, and reaching.
• Excellent communication skills. The ability and desire to work in a close-knit, team-based environment.
• Able to pass a security check for a restricted airside pass.
• Driver’s license an asset
