Our Peru, Indiana facility operates 24/7, and A&P Mechanics and A&P Inspectors are integral to our operation. We are currently seeking skilled aviation professionals to join our team and help ensure every aircraft meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
? Positions Available
A&P Mechanic
Our A&P Mechanics are responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components, performing work in accordance with FAA and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures.
- Interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.
- Move aircraft in hangars and on ramps, including tow-tractor operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and on-the-job training (OJT).
- Adhere to all applicable FARs and company policies.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
- A&P certificate (14 CFR Part 65.83).
- Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within the last 2 years.
- Preferably 5+ years commercial or regional aircraft experience.
- Familiar with FAR Parts 53, 65, and 91.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and differentiating colors.
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks.
- Ability to obtain airport/SIDA badges and meet FAA requirements.
A&P Inspector
Our A&P Inspectors ensure all technical data, regulations, and company standards are met. They certify the quality of workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary, hidden damage, receiving/incoming, in-progress, and final inspections.
- Verify inspection forms and work packages are complete and accurate.
- Update maintenance tracking programs and generate maintenance due lists.
- Make airworthiness determinations per FAA and company standards.
- Review and apply FAA specifications, ADs, manufacturer’s instructions, and technical data.
- Monitor removed parts and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow policies and procedures in DBP repair station manuals.
