Job Title: Aircraft Paint PrepperJob Description
We are seeking experienced aircraft painters to join our team at the Melbourne airport facility. Candidates should possess over 2 years of experience in paint preparation and painting of corporate jets. A keen eye for detail and understanding of paint weight requirements as per FAA standards is essential.
Will consider those with painting experience in the automotive and boating industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint corporate jets with precision and adherence to FAA standards.
- Utilize skills in prepping, sanding, deburring, and buffing to ensure a flawless finish.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment efficiently within a paint booth environment.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adapt to varying shift schedules as required.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate aviation painting.
- Proficiency in aircraft painting and prepping techniques.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Flexible availability for shift work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with industrial painting processes such as sandblasting and blasting.
- Familiarity with inspection standards in an aerospace environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melbourne Florida
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
