* Job Duration: Contract to Hire
* Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 3/4/4/3 schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
* Tools: Required Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 1 year of painting experience or equivalent completed vocational training in aviation, automotive, or marine disciplines.
* Ability to successfully complete the Pulmonary Function evaluation to obtain respirator certification.
* U.S. work authorization required. Preferred Skills
* Formal vocational training or equivalent.
* Customer service or aviation work experience.
* Basic PC skills.
* Basic knowledge of retrieving maintenance manuals and IPCs from computer systems.
* Basic knowledge of regulations related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
* Ability to communicate aircraft or job status in written and verbal form.
* Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings. Job Duties & Functions
* Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
* Participate in 5S activities.
* Perform all assigned work in a safe and timely manner.
* Perform surface preparation on aircraft, repaired components, and new parts or assemblies.
* Apply primer, topcoat, and final spray finishes.
* Perform paint touch-ups as required.
* Polish painted surfaces to achieve final appearance standards.
* Install sealant and erosion tape.
* Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work in a climate-controlled hangar environment.
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
* Ability to wear respiratory protection and other required personal protective equipment.
