What you can expect as an ERP System Analyst at West Star:
This position will report to the Application and Development Manager and has the responsibility of managing, configuring and troubleshooting the company’s ERP systems.
The primary responsibilities of this role include providing both functional and technical support for application-related issues. This position works closely with Operations, Finance, and administrative teams to identify problem areas and develop plans for implementing new processes or reports. Additional duties include managing application upgrades, creating custom reports within the ERP system, and performing data analysis to support organizational decision‑making.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
- Collaborate with multiple departments to document, organize, and implement network‑wide best practices that improve system knowledge, usage, and understanding across the organization.
- Identify and resolve system errors, consulting with functional users to troubleshoot and correct application-related issues.
- Minimize database downtime and manage system parameters to ensure fast and efficient query performance.
- Monitor database performance, implement necessary changes, and apply patches or new versions as required.
- Understand business unit workflows and process requirements as they relate to system applications.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, interpret results, and deliver ongoing reporting to support business needs.
- Assist with general IT infrastructure tasks to ensure software, hardware, networks, and related devices remain fully operational.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Statistics or equivalent experience to include at least 5 years of progressive experience in the same job.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience:
Strong working knowledge of database standards and user applications, including SQL and Oracle databases.
Working knowledge of database design, documentation, coding practices, and basic programming languages/API integrations.
Skilled in writing queries, developing reports, and presenting analytical findings.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and presentation abilities.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and remain highly productive in a fast‑paced environment.
Be a collaborative team member who actively participates in brainstorming sessions and contributes best practices and strategies that drive business results.
Your Initiative:

Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The salary range for this position generally ranges between $70 - $80. Actual rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time.
