About the RoleAs an Exterior Finisher, Painter, you’ll play a vital role in the final stages of aircraft production—ensuring each aircraft meets exacting standards for appearance, durability, and performance. Your attention to detail and expertise will directly impact the quality and presentation of some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.
What You’ll DoPerform surface preparation on aircraft and components, ensuring proper adhesion and finish
Apply primer, topcoat, and final spray coatings to aircraft exteriors
Polish and refine painted surfaces for a flawless finish
Inspect finished work, perform touch-ups, and ensure quality standards are met
Install sealants and erosion tape as required
Layout aircraft according to customer specifications
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Document completed work in accordance with manuals and aviation regulations
Participate in workplace organization and safety programs (5S, EHS compliance)

Schedule: Monday–Friday; Any Shift
Job Type: Full-Time 12-Month Consultant (Contract-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $35.00- 40.00 per hour
Required Qualifications3+ years of corporate or commercial painting experience (aviation preferred)
Ability to obtain respirator certification (Pulmonary Function evaluation required)
Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance manuals and IPCs
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Knowledge of hazardous material handling regulations
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred QualificationsFormal vocational training or equivalent experience
Background in aviation painting or finishing environments
Experience working in hangar or production settings
Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail

Pay Details: $27.00 to $43.00 per hour
