STS Technical Services is hiring Industrial Painters in Stuart, Florida. In this role, you will prepare and apply a range of industrial coatings to aerospace components, delivering high-quality finishes that meet exacting industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify products and components by customer specifications and color codes
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking, plugging, cleaning, and priming
- Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes using spray equipment and electrostatic methods
- Operate painting, blasting, and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Move, load, and unload components within the work area
- Follow production schedules, shipping requirements, and quality guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of industrial painting experience preferred (electrostatic painting knowledge a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Team-oriented with solid communication skills
- Ability to read and understand English
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Good hand-eye coordination and full range of motion for detailed work
