Job Title: Painter/Prepper
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Prepper to join our team, responsible for applying primer and top coats to parts, ensuring adherence to customer specifications. This role involves working within a large state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and requires a keen eye for detail and precision.
Responsibilities
- Apply primer and top coats to parts, cure parts, and verify and record thickness according to specifications.
- Mask parts according to engineering sketches when necessary.
- Conduct visual inspections of work before submitting for final inspection.
- Monitor inventory for expired materials and order supplies as needed.
- Clean spray gun equipment and maintain cleanliness of the spray booth area, changing filters as required.
- Rebuild paint guns with replacement parts as part of a regular maintenance schedule and order replacement parts as needed.
- Maintain all logs and charts accurately.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to customer requirements and maintaining a cleaning log.
- Accurately record all paperwork and labor entries associated with the position.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in painting, paint prep, and applying primer and top coats.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and effectively present information.
- Problem-solving skills to handle a variety of concrete variables.
- Knowledge of Epicor software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Capability to work independently, meet commitments, and handle changes while staying focused under pressure.

Work Environment
Work within a large, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in teams of 3-5 working cells. The dress code is business casual. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
