* MRO / Part 145 Repair Station

* Tools Required (Toolbox, Etched, and Shadowed)
* $26.43 – 33.83 Hourly Education & Job Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in aircraft painting
* 3+ years of experience painting corporate aircraft
* Formal vocational training or equivalent
* Ability to obtain respirator certification through a satisfactory Pulmonary Function evaluation
* Customer service and aviation industry experience
* Basic PC skills, knowledge of retrieving maintenance manuals and IPCs from computer systems, and regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form regarding aircraft and work status
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
* Adhere to the company's General Work Requirements for factory, shop, and hangar environments
* Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures
* Participate in 5-S activities and perform work safely and efficiently
* Perform surface preparation on aircraft and component parts
* Apply primer, topcoat, and final spray coatings to aircraft surfaces
* Polish painted surfaces to achieve a finished appearance
* Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-up activities as required
* Install sealant and erosion tape on aircraft surfaces
* Document all work performed in accordance with applicable manuals and regulations
