Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Mix primers and paints per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Load and unload, plug and mask parts.
• Read and interpret job travelers, prints, and other instructions to prime and/or paint parts to meet Type Design requirements.
• Clean and maintain spray guns, work benches, and other equipment associated with the paint booth.
• Communicate Expedite parts to downstream customers.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, 6-sigma, 5S and/or equivalent methodologies to continually make improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in either aerospace or automotive painting.
• Experience in aerospace (or related field) painting and technique preferred.
• Proficient in MS Windows 7, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy, and reading comprehension.
