Job Description
Join our team as a Paint & Coatings Technician where you will apply your skills to prepare and apply aerospace paints and coatings to turbine engine parts. You will ensure quality standards are met while adhering to schedules and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts and assemblies for painting and coating by masking, stripping, sanding, media blasting, and using various solvents.
- Blend and mix paints and coatings.
- Paint and apply various coatings to turbine engine piece parts and assemblies.
- Perform detail touch-ups.
- Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with environmental protection laws.
- Maintain a clean work environment, tooling, and equipment including hoses and spray guns.
- Coordinate component flow with other departments.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance or aviation manufacturing environment.
- High school graduate or higher.
- Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work without supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must be organized and possess time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to priority changes.
- Ability to work in a supportive, fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must provide own hand tools; special tooling supplied by company.
- Computer and keyboard skills a plus.
- Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.

Work Environment
Work in a comfortable air-conditioned environment on the 1st shift, from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Occasionally, you may need to squat, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds. Repetitive hand movement, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity are essential, along with corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
