Penobscot Island Air is a very diverse and unique air taxi. We fly a combination of freight, mail and passengers daily to several islands in the Penobscot Bay area of Maine. On top of this, we fly all over the state and beyond. Our island airstrips demand a certain finesse and skill from each pilot. We operate a fleet of Cessna 206s and 207s year round in a constantly changing and sometimes challenging environment. We also offer scenic flights of the coastal area, survey flights for environmental companies, and other aviation services.
