Century Aviation, Inc. conducts Part 135 executive passenger charter and air ambulance operations. We are continuously growing company currently operating light, mid/super-mid and heavy business jets offering advancement opportunities to motivated pilots.
 
We are seeking a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for our Citation 501SP “Stallion” (CE-501) who will relocate to our headquarters in Klamath Falls, Oregon with short deployments to various locations.
 
The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) reports directly to the Chief Pilot, or his Designee. They are responsible for the safe and expeditious delivery of passengers, air ambulance and/or cargo to assigned destinations via company operated aircraft. The PIC may delegate authority for required functions but retain the responsibility.
Job Requirements:
The PIC is expected to carry out the following duties:
  1. Required to maintain and keep current a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, First Class Medical, and a valid Passport.
  2. Assume command over all crewmembers and passengers during flight operations while adhering to company Operations Specifications, Federal Aviation Regulations, and company policies/procedures.
  3. Ensures that the physical condition of the aircraft and inspection status has been thoroughly checked before each flight.
  4. Provides necessary services to ensure convenience and comfort for passengers during ground and flight operations.
  5. Collaborates with company maintenance department to make arrangements for, and oversee any required maintenance obtained away from home base.
  6. Prepares and maintains all required paperwork and records.
  7. Keeps the company informed of the progress and/or problems encountered during trip.
  8. Ensures compliance with duty, flight time and rest requirements.
  9. Makes suggestions and recommendations to improve operations.
 
Pilot Candidate Requirements:
  • 3000 hours total flight time
  •  1500 hours total PIC
  •  250 hours of PIC time in type
  •  ATP rating
  •  CE-500 Type Rating preferred
  •  Current class 1 medical
  •  Valid US Passport
  •  No significant accidents, incidents, or enforcement action in the last 3 years
 
Compensation:
 
Base Salary $125,000.00
 
Medical Benefits provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield - 4 plan levels
 
401K, two weeks paid vacation per year after the successful completion of the first year.
 
Schedule: 14 Days on and 7 Days off after completion of required training. Per Diem: $2.00 per hour, per day.
 
Training contract required. Amount and length of contract are based on applicant's currency and qualifications.
