Position Overview:
This private company is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Captain responsible for the Pilatus PC-24 and PC-12. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership, and the ability to adapt to changes and challenges. You must demonstrate a high level of organization, a strong customer service orientation, and exceptional attention to detail, while consistently delivering a polished, professional client experience.
The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Pilatus PC-24 and PC-12 aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Part 91 rules and regulations, as well as Operational Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures. The Captain is accountable for conducting flights safely, comfortably, and prudently, including pre-flight planning, post-flight documentation, in-flight client service, and maintenance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations & Complaince:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA, Foreign State, and ICAO regulations
- Operate under the Company Operations Manual, Safety Management System, Standard Operating Procedures, and International Operations Manual
- Determine the airworthiness of aircraft, including performance capabilities and requirements; calculate required fuel load; and aircraft weight and balance
- Ensure the preflight and post-flight inspections are performed
- Formulate and file flight plans
- Complete all trip paperwork promptly
- Utilization of Flight Management systems
Administrative:
- Closely communicate across the organization regarding flight plans, ground transportation, and other travel needs
- Ensure the Principal Passengers and their guests enjoy a safe and comfortable flight experience, including:
- Load and unload passenger luggage, including tracking luggage
- Organize and restock the plane with necessary snacks, drinks, and supplies before each flight
- Maintain financial expenditure receipts and promptly input them into accounting system
- Assist with international trip planning
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Pilatus PC-24/PC-12 PIC Type Rating (type rating provided for well-qualified candidates)
- Hour Requirement
- 3,500+ hours total flight time
- 1,500 hours as PIC
- 1,000+ hours turbojet or turbine PIC time
- 2,000+ hours of fixed-wing multi-engine
- Current Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
- Flexible with changing schedules and hours
