Job Description:

As a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) at Plane Care LLC, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional flight instruction to individuals pursuing their aviation goals. Key Responsibilities:

Flight Instruction:

  • Provide comprehensive flight instruction to students, encompassing ground school and flight training, in accordance with established curricula and training syllabi.
  • Teach fundamental and advanced aviation concepts, including flight maneuvers, navigation, emergency procedures, and instrument procedures.

Student Development:

  • Mentor and guide students throughout their aviation journey, helping them build confidence and proficiency.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings, offering constructive feedback and personalized guidance for improvement.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Prioritize safety at all times, ensuring adherence to aviation regulations, company procedures, and best practices.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate students' progress, conducting checkrides and proficiency evaluations.

Customer Interaction:

  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with students, addressing their questions, concerns, and individual learning needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Aircraft Maintenance:

  • Assist in the oversight and maintenance of training aircraft to ensure they remain airworthy and safe for flight.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the maintenance team.

Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with the instructional team to enhance and develop training materials, lesson plans, and flight scenarios.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold a valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate with appropriate category and class ratings.
  • Proven experience in flight instruction, including ground school and flight training.
  • Strong understanding of aviation theory, principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using flight training materials, simulators, and related software.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and student backgrounds.
  • Dedication to maintaining a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence in instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional instructor certifications (CFII, MEI) are advantageous.
  • Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.

  • Knowledge of Part 61 and Part 141 training programs.

Working Conditions:
