TransExec Private Jets, a leader in the private aviation industry, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Operations to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 25+ years of experience in aviation operations, with a current pilot's license, and a thorough understanding of FAA regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Operations in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's private jet fleet, including scheduling, dispatch, maintenance, and crew management.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and procedures, including FAA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other industry professionals to ensure the company's continued success and growth.

  • Manage and supervise the company's operations team, including pilots, maintenance technicians, and support staff.

  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.

  • Ensure that all flight and ground operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to support the company's growth and development.

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, safety standards, and ARGUS and Wyvern standards, and maintain a high level of safety for all flights
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry, with significant experience in Part 135 charter operations
  • Proven track record of managing and growing an aviation business
  • Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations, safety standards, and ARGUS and Wyvern standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
