CH-47 Instructor Pilot/Maintenance Examiner

This position supports the CH-47F Project Office Logistics New Equipment Training and Technical Support Program
This position will start 12/1/2019 and reports to Huntsville, Alabama facility
Provides flight instruction as aircraft instructor pilot.
Conducts aircrew training flights.
Provides flight training on procedures, aircraft systems, operational procedures, emergency procedures, malfunction analysis, navigation, aerodynamics, radio operations. Conduct hands-on flight exams in aircraft as well as oral and written flight exams. Instrument instructor examiner provides both inflight instruction and exams along with written and oral instructions and exams.
Travel Required- 50%
FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot rating and the appropriate category endorsements.
Must have rotorcraft helicopter CFI/CFII or DOD rotary wing instructor rating, Minimum 500 hours in CH-47F
Must have a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
Minimum 1000 hours in CH-47
Instrument instructors, additionally, 150 hours minimum of hood, weather and simulator time combined.
