To excel in this role, the applicant must possess the following:
- 2 years or more of regulatory experience or 5 years or more of Industry experience including at least 2 years as a flight operations inspector (helicopters) and experience in developing implementation of flight operations standards.
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) with a Flight Radio Telephony Operator License
- Held Check and Training Pilot (Helicopter) approval with an operator or conducted base check training and other operational training
- Experience in safety management systems (SMS), with human factors and accident/incident investigation, desirable
- Good understanding and knowledge of helicopter regulatory audit procedures and policies
- Proven ability to analyze and present all audit findings to Management and key stakeholders
- Suitable knowledge of the ICAO Annexes and Standards, Fiji Civil Aviation Acts, Air Navigation Regulations, CAAF Standards Documents (SD), and other relevant legislative requirements and procedures
