Bristow Helicopters is opening recruitment for four cadetships which will provide extensive training over a two year period after which you will be employed in one of our operations. Training will be conducted with Castle Air from Gloucester Airport, with the possibility of conducting some phases in Florida, USA. Longer term opportunities to work at any of the following bases – Lydd, Lee-on-Solent, Newquay, St Athan, Caernarfon, Prestwick, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Inverness, Humberside & Falkland Islands. An assignment to one base does not preclude future applications to an alternate base. Internal vacancies are relatively routine but it may take a number of years to achieve a specific assignment.
Hours are variable during training within the Flight Time Limitations and Working Time Directive. There is a requirement to hold 24 hour duty shifts both during training and once operational.
Essential Requirements
Right to permanently live and work in the UK
Hold (or will hold a Class 1 CAA Medical prior to the commencement of the commercial training – approx.10 weeks post the start date)
Availability to commence training in October 2025 or Q2 2026
Ability to support yourself financially whilst completing the training
Five GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths & English (or equivalent academic qualification)
Current passport holder

Compress a 1-minute video to under 30MB using Microsoft Clipchamp
1. Open Clipchamp from the Start menu. If not installed, download it from the Microsoft Store.
2. Click &39;Create a new video&39;
3. Click &39;import media&39; and select your 1-minute video file.
4. Drag the video in to the timeline at the bottom.
5. Click &39;Export&39; in the top right corner.
6. Choose &39;480p&39; resolution and MP4 format to reduce file size.
7. Clipchamp will show an estimated size before exporting.
8. Export and save the video to your computer.
9. Verify the file size is under 30MB
Complete the application process.
