Responsibilities:
Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and perform Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), in-flight troubleshooting, Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), and functional verifications to confirm aircraft airworthiness.
Validate system performance following production build, major disassembly, maintenance, or modification.
Conduct detailed briefings for flight crews and maintenance personnel in accordance with AH-64E IETM, Operator’s Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, and Checklist Manual.
Document and communicate aircraft deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
Provide expert oversight to ensure compliance with technical, safety, and operational standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience, Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- US Secret Clearance Required to start.
Successfully completed the U.S. Army AH-64E Apache Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) or GFR-approved contractor equivalent.
Completed AH-64 Aviation Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phases I & II
Minimum 1,000 hours flight time as an AH-64D/E Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
Minimum 100 hours as an AH-64D/E Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).
Current Army or FAA Class II Flight Physical (minimum 6 months validity upon hire; renewable annually).
U.S. Citizen eligible to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
