USFS Carded Bell 407 Pilot

Join the Brainerd Helicopter Services Inc. team.  We are seeking a USFS carded pilot for State and Federal Aerial Fire Fighting missions in the Bell 407. Brainerd Helicopter Services Inc. is a team of 13 full time pilots and 1 part time pilot. Our primary mission is Aerial Fire Fighting for the USFS, DOI and the Minnesota DNR.  We also conduct aerial utility missions for a number of utility companies.  About half of our pilots live locally, with the remainder working primarily 12/12 schedules, except during peak operations.  All pilots are paid an annual salary with bonus opportunities and benefits.  Most of our pilots are off duty beginning in early Oct without work requirements and will enjoy that time off until our Safety and Training sessions in January.  We are seeking to hire 1 Bell 407 pilot.  Bell 206 series experience a plus.       

Currently USFS Carded in the Bell 407, including:

• External Load/Long Line VTR
• Mountainous Terrain
• Aerial Ignition Torch and PSD
• 100 hours minimum the past 12 months
• Recent VTR experience (10 hours preferred in the Bell 407)
• USFS or State Aerial Fire Fighting Experience in the Bell 407 in the past 24 months.
