Reports ToRegional Manager, Sales (Malaysia & Brunei)
Position Summary Manage the designated station sales team by implementing robust sales and spaneting plans, ensuring customer-centric operational excellence, and achieving sales targets aligned with revenue goals and Commercial Strategic Pillars (CSP).
Key Accountability- Establish good relationship with all travel agencies, travel trade partners and tourism board to drive sales and ensure continuous support rendered that is in line with business sales policy and advise them the Company sales procedure and policy.
- Explore growth opportunities and implement sales strategies and sales policies to achieve the revenue target, within the budgeted overhead cost allocated and monitor performance data & KPI pertaining to sales and revenue and achieving CSP targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on opportunities to improve and drive high yield revenue contribution from travel agencies and travel trade partner.
- Obtain feedbacks from the trade, analyze the region sales performance including performing intelligence on competitor sales performance, provide recommendation and possible solution to the management for a more robust sales drive.
- Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to the station sales team and manage any shortcomings immediately in order to make them an effective and high performing Sales team.
- Provide ad-hoc/administrative support to Regional Manager Sales (Malaysia & Brunei) and any other support work assigned and required from time to time.
Qualifications - Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing with 7 years working experience in sales commercial activities and/or
- Diploma in Business, Economics, Accounting, Marketing with 10 years working experience in sales commercial activities
- 7 – 10 years working experience
Area of Experience - Strong knowledge of the airline commercial business is preferred.
- Able to converse fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages. Other language (s) are beneficial.
- Good analytical thinking.
